UW-Whitewater LIFE Program
What is LIFE?Like you, UW-W knows thatLearning is for Everyone (LIFE). LIFEprovidesacomplete college experience for young adults between the ages of 18-25 who have an intellectual disability.
With ample support, specialized instruction, and low class sizes, UW-W's LIFE program provides access to students who have historically been excluded from the many opportunities afforded by higher education. With LIFE, students live on campusand attend integrated classes, where possible, to maximize their learning and community orientation. Both in-class and in the residence halls, our attentive staff will be there to help guideand support your student.
Designed to facilitate independent living and employment success, LIFE offers hope forpersons with significant cognitive limitations.
