Down Syndrome and Keratoconus: Webinar

In celebration of Down Syndrome Awareness Month, we invite you to join NDSS and National Keratoconus Foundation (NKCF) on Tuesday, October 12, at 7:00 PM ET/4:00 PM PT, for a live webinar for parents and caregivers on Down Syndrome and Keratoconus.

Guest speakers will include Dr. Ann Ostrovsky MD, a cornea specialist from the NYU/Langone Medical Center in New York City, and Dr. Donny Suh MD, chief of pediatric ophthalmology at Gavin Herbert Eye Institute at the University of California, Irvine. Both have extensive experience treating patients with Down syndrome. You’ll also hear from John Croninof John’s Crazy Socks, who will discuss his experience with the process over the last few months and how his treatment is going.

This webinar will give an overview of eye and vision conditions, with a focus on keratoconus, a condition that affects members of the Down syndrome community in great numbers.

This webinar requires preregistration, however, if you are not able to attend this event live, a recording of the webinar will be available on both the NKCF and NDSS websites.

Register HERE to attend this session.

Let me know if you have any questions and please share with your families!

Thank you!
